"Adversity introduces a man to himself..."
From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, I've been through it all…
From losing 7 full-ride scholarship offers at the age of 17, due to a fractured/dislocated ankle.
To walking-on at Oklahoma State, and playing as a True-Freshman Walk-on.
To then, transferring to a University in a state I had no clue existed, to becoming a 3-year starter and captain. (Marshall University, Huntington, WV)
Later, transferring again to The University of Oklahoma for my last year, earning a starting receiver spot, to then, testing positive for COVID-19 the Wednesday of game week.
Then, eventually coming back from a 2-week quarantine and suffering a season-ending injury my first practice back…
I say all of this, because, no matter what happens to you in life...
IT KEEPS GOING!
Be able to adapt to whatever this life throws at you.
Because the ones that do so, always come out on top!
